Having trouble downloading?

Firefox may treat .xpi files as browser extensions and block the download. If that happens, use Chrome, Edge, Safari, or another browser to download the file, then install it from file in Zotero.

Installation Instructions
After downloading, please follow these steps to install
  1. Ensure you have installed Zotero 7.x, 8.x, 9.x, or 10.x
  2. Download the BibGenie plugin file that suits your needs
  3. Open Tools → Add-ons in Zotero
  4. Click the gear icon and select "Install Add-on From File"
  5. Select the downloaded .xpi file to install
  6. Restart Zotero to complete the installation
  7. Find the BibGenie icon in Zotero's toolbar to start using
