3. What We Do Not Use Cookies For

We do not use cookies to store your Zotero library, PDFs, notes, BibGenie chat history, or bring-your-own-key API keys.

BibGenie does not use cookie-based tracking to read your Zotero data. Zotero plugin data such as chat history and custom model settings is handled locally by the plugin unless a feature necessarily sends a request to your selected AI provider or a BibGenie-managed model proxy.

4. Third-Party Cookies and Services

Some cookies may be set by third-party services that help us operate BibGenie:

• Better Auth for authentication and session handling
• Stripe for checkout, subscriptions, credit purchases, invoices, and billing portal access
